Anyone know a good juicer for veges and greens?

I use a hand blender by Cuisinart. Just use a blender if you need the fiber, juicers are overrated.

I just researched this a bunch. If you want to spend less than $200, the Breville Ikon is best. If you want closer to a professional, high usage machine, get the Breville Elite for $299. I'm getting the Ikon because I'm only going to juice breakfast and it's better on greens than the $149 Breville juice fountain plus.

Get a slow juicer to keep the enzymes intact. I have a Norwalk, but they are pricey. I know someone with an Omega, who loves it. Hurom are also slow. Slow just means they don't use centrifugal force, which destroys enzymes.

I have used the Breville Elite, but my favorite is my new Hurom. For the price, it really extracts a lot of juice and clean-up is pretty easy!

I just bought an inexpensive Breville; only $99, and it works great.
I've heard the Hurom and the slow juicers are the best, but they're much more expensive. (I'm kind of bummed to hear six say that the enzymes are destroyed).

Norman Walker (a book came with my Norwalk) said those juicers are okay if you drink the juice right away. I used a centrifugal juicer for years before I got a Norwalk, and I did feel it was good for me, but the juice from the Norwalk is different.
