All - The Physician's Asst who works for my LLMD told me to get "Pure Encapsulations" brand supplemenents. When I went to their website, it said they only sell to medical professionals. But then I found it offered on other websites. Would these other websites be selling counterfeit products or can they be trusted? Isn't it illegal for them to sell this product to just anyone online if it is only supposed to be sold to healthcare professionals who then sell it to their patients? The PA at my LLMD's office only works their one week a month so it is hard to get a hold of her and I just want to go ahead and order the supplements, but again, I'm afraid to get them from a site other than the brand site which doesn't sell directly to the public. Please help! Thanks.

I've wondered this as well about other top brands but I guess if they come sealed maybe they're ok? Depends on the site too I guess, the usual Vitacost, iHerbs, etc. would be ok. Would you be able to get them from say an ND? Sorry I can't be of more help, maybe someone out there knows.

I doubt they are counterfeit. Order them. I think a lot of companies SAY one thing and DO another.
They SAY it can only be sold to professionals, then they see the profit .. elsewhere. Just my guess.

I am pretty sure that Pure Encapsulations was just taken over by a pharma company in an effort to pull more vit manufacturers into their net.
Get them while you can.
Take care.

I order from Pure Encapsulations because I have an RN license. Any healthcare professional with a license (doesn't have to be a physician) can get the Physician's rate.
If you have a family member with a license, that would be one way to order from them directly.
They do ask for the license #, and then in 24-48 hrs after registering, you can start ordering.

Thanks, everyone. Very helpful. I have just sent an e-mail to greenandhealthy.com. Hopefully, they can get it for me. If not, I will order from a different site. I have a cousin who's a nurse, but I don't want to have to hassle with having her do the order for me. I do not want to find a naturapath or other healthcare professional just so I can get these supplements because that will just mean spending more $$ for a consultation.

Green and Healthy can get it for you and at the lowest price on the net. I have yet to find better prices any where and have been buying high grade supplements for years. I found this site a few months ago and have been saving a bundle.
Good luck.

Dekrator - I've done this with a few other "physician only" or "provider only" brands. Does Pure have a quantity requirement? If not, I'll go direct for physician pricing. Since you have an authorization as well, I am wondering if you've tried to get provider-pricing and direct sale from Xymogen? Those two brands would be helpful for me.
For those without provider-rates there are places like ForrestHealth , as well as BioPureUS that can provide some of those "exclusive" formulas relatively cheaply. For "Pure Encapsulations", they even are available for some items (I buy DL-Phenylalanine, for instance) on Amazon - often with "Prime" accessible shipping!

Blackstone,
There is no quantity requirement with Pure Encapsulations. Shipping cost is a little high at $10.
I have never ordered from Xymogen.

Here are two more websites that I've used for purchasing physician grade supplements.
