Maybe you will want to join the Yahoo group for California lyme and ask this question. Sometimes people have trouble finding a hospital who will take an order from a lyme doc that does not have hospital privileges. Then you would be looking for a freestanding radiology center instead. Does your lyme doc not have any suggestions?

No, Ska8ter, my Lyme doc didn't know anyone local. I am looking for a surgery center as opposed to a hospital because I assume it would be less expensive. Poppy, there is no local support group (seems strange...I'm sure there are Lyme patients around here in the South Bay area of L.A.). The closest one is a good 45 minutes to an hour away, although I may call the leader of that group just to see if she knows of anyone.
