I borrowed a GB4000 from a family member (who only used it once, after having a frightening reaction).
I started using it two weeks ago. The first time I tried it, I used it on audio. The next two times, I did as well and noticed that I felt no current in my hands like I did the first time.
Today I decided to try the RF mode. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the RF light is not glowing and it says in the manual if that's not glowing, it's not working and needs to be looked at.
The machine has only been used 4 times in its lifetime! I followed the directions to the letter to be sure I didn't either kill myself with the currents or almost equally as bad -- break someone else's machine!! So I'm at a loss as to what to do. I don't know where it was bought to call for help.
any thoughts? I'm hoping I've just overlooked something!

Do you have everything plugged in correctly? The short red cord and the short black cord plugging into both the generator and the amp?
Ask the manufacturer! They'll help you.

Oh, i see you say you don't know where it was bought.
You need to find out! Especially if it's defective and you need to send it back.
You can get the information, can't you?

When using the GB4000 in audio mode you should start with the output knob (which is at the lower right of the unit) set to its lowest position and slowly turn it up until you feel a sensation in your hands at the handholds. You can then turn the knob to a comfort level.
When running in RF mode, the RF light will only light up when the output knob is turned all the way to the right to the full power position. If the light doesn't light with the knob at full power position, then there probably is a problem with the unit.

I'm so embarrassed that I never followed up with this! thanks for the input everyone. The cords must have not been fully pushed in because I unplugged and replugged everything in and it works again. what a relief!
