I'm thinking specifically of the ozone where they pull your blood, add ozone to it and put it back in.

I understand that some people might say yes to this question based on how they felt/feel, but I'd like a more scientific answer if there is one.

Wow, never heard this.

manybites, what kind of experiences did you have?

I don't know much about this blood ozone treatment, but I do remember a nurse cautioning me about it. Something about needing to be careful with the lungs. I'd research very carefully before trying. I'm not saying I wouldn't do it, just check it out first. I think ozone can have wonderful benefits.

Hi hens:) Miss you!! Let's catch up one of these days.

My "pcp's clinic" (that thinks they are lyme literate, but are not) have been pushing me to try

this for my "chronic fatigue" [shake] (They don't know I do have Lyme along with the co's.)

I, too, read somewhere it's bad for those with babesia, plus it's only temporary in that it

removes the bacteria from the blood but not the tissues... I believe in Ozone therapy for other things, but I'm not going to try this having Babesia!

I just got this info by private email -

"FYI, The yahoo group on ozone said that ozone kills babesia. Some folks are only using ozone therapy to stay in remission and they have lyme and babs etc."

Hey Hens... I am with you... I have been researching the net (for hours) and all I can find is that it is a killing agent for Babs as well as many other viruses, fungi etc.

I would GREATLY appreciate seeing scientific evidence that states the opposite.

Thank you...

I would think OZONE is a form of liquid oxygen? I would think if that was the case then babesia would be a aroebic bacteria meaning it is similar to a virus that spreads in the air.

Only my 2 cents but. Hyperbaric oxygen treatment can also treat most aroebic bacteria too..at least that is what dr. said who I got it from a few times.

From my personal experience:
I felt great while on ozon treatment in Germany and I have Babesia. Actually I think the ozon even put me in remission for Babesia for about 2 months, since for 2 months I did not have Babesia symptoms and tested negative for all Babesia herbs and meds.
Its back now! So I'm treating with photons, herbs and salt/C-very aggressively.

So, I'm sure from the way I've felt- ozon kills Babesia!

Bringing this up for any other experiences on whether ozone treatment can make Babesia worse?
