I have been on and off of Cowden Herbs for a while. Samento, Banderol, Burber, Parsley. I think the alcohol in the tinctures might be irritating my disgestive track.
I wondered if anyone else ever experienced this and if they used them in boiling water instead of cold. I wonder if it would lessen the effectivness of the protocol.

Here's how I was instructed to use the tinctures:
Heat the water. Pour into a glass or cup. Using a cooking thermometer check the temperature. It should be 105 degrees. If too hot, just add cool water and recheck the temperature.
Place the number of drops you need into the glass of water. Allow to sit for 30 minutes. By then, the alcohol is volatilized and you can drink it. It will not effect the quality of the herbal tincture.
Boiling water is too hot to use for this purpose.

I forgot to say that once you have some practice you'll find it easier to judge the temperature, and it will go faster for you.
Best wishes.
