My LLMD okayed my using a rife machine. Was actually really enthused that I brought it up.

Looking forward to receiving it so I can get going with the treatment. Won't have it for at least another month.

LLMD took me off all antibiotics. Testing me for heavy metals. Wouldn't be surprised if I have a heavy load considering the amount of high fructose corn syrup I've consumed since I was a child.

Up until a few years ago I lived on sweets which are high in HFCS. I eat fish and shell fish too, so it's a double whammy.

Be interesting to see the results. [Wink]

Good to hear the enthusiasm and hope in your voice.

As heavy metals are likely in the picture, be sure to read Rosner's book before you proceed as he details how to safely work with the metal issue that becomes more important with rife use.

You can copy & paste to your personal research file:

Book: Lyme Disease and Rife Machines by Bryan Rosner

[A MUST-HAVE book, IMO. It's just not safe to proceed until having read this, I think it's that important.]

MDs are not allowed to introduce the subject of rife. But, if you ask, they can share what they may have heard from patients, etc.

Many LL complementary practitioners incorporate RIFE. You might be able to find one near you or through links here:

Also includes article and book links by all kinds of LL authors - and information about herbal and nutritional supplements.

Bionic 880 links, too. (Not rife but still a much different approach that has been very helpful for some.)

Sylver's book is very detailed. It is not at all just about lyme, though, as is Rosner's book linked above.

COOL!! The patient has to bring up the subject of a Rife machine with the doctor. Doctors are not allowed to initiate that conversation.

So I'm glad you asked about it! [Smile]

Keebler: I have Bryan's book. Read it once, now going thru it again to see what I missed or didn't absorbed. So hope the rife machine works for me cause the antibiotics have basically stopped. A little anxious about the herx reactions they talk abou t. Hoping it doesn't totally disable me.

Lymetoo: I did have to bring the subject up with him. He was very good about it and heard about "joe" the Rife
machine guy and he knew about Bryan Rosners book. Also knew about rosners book Top Ten Lyme Disease Treatments so I feel comfortable he's on top of what's going on in the Lyme world.

He did tell me that he couldn't advise me on any treatment with the machine. And that I fully understand.

He did make it very clear that he cOuldnt advise me n any. Treatment

I treat myself with the rife machine, PLUS the PE-1 device PLUS herbs PLUS some detox, and i just keep getting better.

The rife machine alone i don't think would be enough for me, but i don't analyze very scientifically.

I don't think any of those 4 treatments would be enough solo, for me.

How long have you been treating with the rife? And where did you purchase one from? Do you have a lot of co-infections? I have been too sick so far to go off I.v. Antibiotics. We're you that sick when you started rifing?

Sam---- Are you asking me?

I've been treating with the rife machine for 2 years. I wasn't very sick when i started. I had been on oral antibiotics for 5 1/2 years; i never did IV. The last year on abx was scrounged half doses. No doctor wanted to keep giving me abx.

I have mild lyme, mild Babesia, mild Bartonella, and Fry Labs said i have the mystery bug that they used to call hemobartonella. Also i have gut Candida.

I bought my GB4000 online. It's user-friendly. The Doug coil is said to be more powerful, more effective, but it sounds a bit troublesome to use and it only runs one frequency at a time; whereas the GB4000 runs sweeps and bunches of frequencies.

There's a 45-page rife thread on this forum, you can get a lot of info there.

Thanks, Pollypolygonum, it sounds like you weren't as sick as I am. Do you feel you are almost cured from the rife? How often do you rife?

Sam

Yes, i'm ALMOST cured. I should be more aggressive! I don't rife often enough! And i should use the PE-1 more!

I do very well rifing every day for about an hour or 50 minutes. I can't keep up that schedule very long though.

If i'm in a hurry, half hour rifing treats the basic lyme, babs, bart. Because i'm busy, i don't rife every day and the symptoms build up.

Dan (see the Rife thread here on Lymenet--- he knows more than anyone here) completely cured his wife's Babesia.

Actually i'm surprised that i am improving, since i haven't had an ambitious treatment schedule,; i skimp, and i only rife when symptom build-up forces me to, after 3 or even 4 days.

I think it's the addition of the PE-1 that seems to be tipping the balance. I don't really know.

I don't have the new MOPA attachment. It didn't exist when i bought my machine. It adds a lot of power to the GB4000, but i'm afraid of higher levels of electricity. Dan and Juli have the MOPA.
