Hi all. So I've started my doxy about 2 weeks ago or so and I now have an acne looking rash all over my chest, neck, and back. Thinking back to when I first got Lyme in 2010 and was treated with 14days of doxy, I had the same rash then after a little while of taking the doxy. I remember also my face had broken out in what seemed to be horrible acne. When my prescription was done back in 2010, it took MONTHS before my skin started looking normal again. Also, my scalp is itchy. The symptoms are really mostly aesthetic and I know I may be being vain here, but what are your opinions/advice? Should I just stick it out and doom myself to a year or so of crappy skin? Anyone else having these problems? Getting in to see my LLMD again is hard. She is always booked up for months...
