Morning. Been o. Armour for about a week, making me feel sore, achey, feverish. Anyone else feel that way?

I don't think these are typical side effects of Armour. That is not to say that your symptoms cannot be from that.
What other meds are you taking? Have you switched any meds recently?

Never had, nor heard of, that type of reaction to "Armour". I was on it for a few months per my LLND, but was swayed back to Synthroid by my PCP. (Never noticed a difference)
Could it just be coincidental? Sounds more like symptoms of a flu-type bug. (Lot of that goin' around)

Your are so right. I think it was the flu. My stomached was off, weak, fever. I'm doing better now. Still a little off but better than yesterday. Thanks for all your help.

can be weak adrenal glands from all the research I've done on dessicated thyroid/t3. Lots of controversy on this subject. People to look up who are on the same side as me:

and basically most of the medical industry is against armour, and any t3.

I too have been taking Armour Thyroid and even when I have switched from one type to another, I've never heard of these types of symptoms.
With that said, something is going on, so I would definitely mention it to your doctor. Please keep us posted.

janice, Hope you're doing fine now. I had a close call w/ a similar bug myself. Almost got it- twice- over this last week. Took care o'myself & I think I dodged a bullet that took several down at work for a couple days.
I have a book from a cutting-edge endocrinologist ('The 2% Solution' maybe?) which says a 2% addition of T-3 to the T-4 is best for many, & that a compounding pharmacist can make it up.
That's why *I* tried a tiny [15mg] Armour tab w/ the Synthroid (amount adjusted). Armour is a 4.22-to-1 ratio of T4 to T3. But, again, *I* never noticed any difference.
