Never seriously treated for lyme other than 6 weeks of doxy after ll yrs infected. Appt with top llmd but he doesn't use rife also. My question is do I cancel and go to a doctor that does antib iv and rife machine too? Recent bloodwork says still positive after 12&1/2 years. Any suggestions?

I think you would be hard pressed to find a Dr who uses a Rife machine at all. Some recommend them but it isn't very common, you can get some naturopaths that use them, but then they wouldn't treat you with abx probably.

- A MD is not allowed to treat with rife. It is categorized as experimental. A MD is not allowed to even bring up the subject of rife.
However, if you bring it up, they can share with you what other patients may have told them about their experiences with it.
They cannot guide your rife treatment, though.
A LL ND (naturopathic doctor) would be best for guidance with rife, although not all LL ND have the knowledge (and most NDs are not lyme literate. A few are, though and of those few, even fewer have knowledge about rife. -

- Remember, lyme seldom travels alone. You should be assessed for coinfections, too.
It's important not to determine what treatment you WANT but keep an open mind, see the best doctor you can and first see what they say about all this.
You may have more than just lyme. You need to find out for sure exactly what is going on.

If you want to rife I would say buy your own machine and DIY. Keebler is right. No LLMD will treat with rife. I would not rife and do abx at the same time. Have you read Bryan Rosner's book or the one by Nenah Sylver, bothe about rifing?
