Two times when I have switched bart protocols once with rifampin and now with bactrim I start feeling better initially for about 4 or 5 days and think wow I am finally on the right path. Then after these 4 or 5 decent days it goes back to crap. I was wondering if this is common. Will I start to feel better again after being on the meds for many months? Is it a good sign to have felt a bit better initially? Am I missing or treating the wrong co-infection at this time. I would like to hear if anyone has had similar experiences. Thank you very much...

Lyme and coinfection treatment is very much UP AND DOWN... that was the hardest part for me. Just as I would think I was getting better, WHAM!

Hang in there!!
