Today I was having a great day. No felt heart skips and not pain.

I have been trying to eat glutten free the last few days just to see if that helps with my reminding issues. Had some gutten free waffels today and nothing else until about 3 when I made some eggs, turky lunch meat (i know, I know) and some spinish...I then took my supplements like I do after lunch.

About 20 mins or so later, boom a few heart skips follow but gas and burping and the hicups...

I have been doing some reading heart skips and gastro issues and the seems to be a connection.

I read someone saying that heart skips that are trigger but gastro issues are due to leaky gut.

I know a few here have had leaky gut issues so i am looking for help as to what other sx you had with your leaky gut

I get heart skips, palpitations and heart zaps from....acid reflux! People actually go to the hospital thinking they are having a heart attack and its actually acid reflux.

The acid irritates the nerves near the heart and causes those symptoms. Try taking some baking soda in a little water (the box says how much) or alka seltzer gold and see if they dissapate.

As for acid reflux, I often wonder if yeast or parasites are causing mine. Take care!

Check to see if there is MSG in your turkey meat...or "natural flavors" that would a trigger for many.

It doesn't have to mean leaky gut, it could just be a trigger for you, like a sensitivity.

Well dont want to declare a victory but yesterday I felt zero skips. Did feel some gas and gut spasm but nothing like the skips I was getting daily.

What I do different yesterday? I tried to eat glutten free and really watch my sugar intake. I know I have to eliminate everything but that is harder for my so I am just trying to make small changes in hope I can get used to it.

I am praying today will be a good day as well

Keep in mind that while many people will see improvements immediately from cutting out gluten, it does take many weeks for it to fully leave your system, and it will also take time for you to become savvy at recognizing where it could be hidden, so you'll likely have accidental exposure as well for a while.

I get heart skips after eating often times and I've been thinking mine may be caused by my hiatal hernia, at least partially.

I have been gluten free about a month. My LLMD told me it can take 4-9 mos. for gluten to completely leave the body. Of course improvement can and will be felt much sooner than that.

Eating the very simple carbs of (even if GF) waffles for breakfast and then nothing else until 3 pm probably clobbered your blood glucose functions. That alone would make me feel very ill for days following.

With Leaky Gut, you must have something kind in your stomach all day long. A Slipper Elm gruel is helpful between meals.

As Whitney suggests above: ADDITIVE?

The turkey lunch meat may have contained some excitotoxins, depending upon the source. If so, they could make you feel very ill and could cause the heart rhythm to go a bit bonkers.

All lunch meats are also more prone to food poisoning so be sure to eat only the very freshest (but with no additives) from a store that cuts their own right there for you.

Keep in the coldest part of your fridge but consume by the next day. Lunch meats do not keep well. Individual servings can be frozen but be sure to thaw in fridge, not out.

SLIPPERY ELM GRUEL - relating to help for Leaky Gut

-----------

DGL - just Google that for more detail about how it can help Leaky Gut.

DGL can also be very effective against Acid Reflux.

QUINOA FLAKES are also very helpful and can be combined into a Slippery Elm Gruel.

For anyone with Leaky Gut &/or Lyme, it's vital to consider parasites. Many links here and while not "everything" - it's a good start:

Lunch meats are at the top the list of food poisoning causes.

Some kinds of food poisoning infections may cause symptoms that can last for years -- and can certainly cause Leaky Gut & and even full body pain and brain fog.

It's important to know that - and how to stay safe all year long.
