This may be old news to all of you. But in one of my moments of thinking "I don't have Lyme" despite all the proof... I started looking up RA and came upon this site and read the book THE NEW ARTHRITIS SOLUTION, which also includes Dr. McPherson Brown's full book THE ROAD BACK.
I was wondering about your thoughts on his theories... Could minocycline help with Lyme arthritis?
I found this book very informative and helped me understand better much of what I have been reading about Lyme. The sections written by dr. Brown and also the other author, are really written so anyone can understand.
What I found very interesting is how he referred to RA as a bactirial allergy to the mycoplasmas. A someone who has suffered from allergies all my life, I have often wondered if everything is all tied together.
Curious to hear all your thoughts about this "new to me" book and the website and minocycline treatment for Lyme and/or arthritis.

That's a really informative website. I actually found them first, because my son developed arthritis and I already knew about the infectious theory of arthritis. They are the people that recommended my LLMD.
Lot's of people there have gotten much better on mino, but some have turned out to have Lyme and are treating with LLMDs.

I think The Road Back is a great organization. I just wish more knew about it and more doctors followed their advice.
I truly believe that RA is based on an infection. I know of one person who was cured of her RA by taking antibiotics long-term.
She used to come on the radio with her doctor and they would tell the story. That was a local show I listened to in the 90s. It was thrilling to hear.
She went from bedridden to a totally active woman. She eventually married her doctor who cured her and they go bike riding for 20 miles or more at a time, have a ball, and are extremely healthy, active people.

It was the second place I went to when my daughter got sick. She was diagnosed, after a year of testing, with fibromyalgia and mycoplasma pneumonia/epstein-barre/parvovirus. I was referred there by Garth Nicholson of the IMMED.
From there, I was referred to my daughter's LLMD.
Minocycline was a great drug for my daughter. It gave her better brain function. It wasn't the cure, but it brought her a long way.
