I am enjoying Bruce fife book on Alzeimers but am not tempted by the diet outlined, a modified Atkins one. Many references to Lyme disease in the book. Even Dr K is mentioned! Excellent chapter on dental issues. I have just started taking 6 tablespoons daily of coconut oil. Anyone else here doing this and combining it with a high sugar , low f...at vegan diet? As I am. I am not tempted to follow Robert Atkins what with his untimely death! There a lot of testimonials for Molasses and coconut oil and oil pulling [best done with coconut oil as earthclinic reveals] on www.earthclinic.com. I agree with Linus Pauling about finding the optimum dose for something for it to work. Or as Bruce might put it finding the therapeutic dosage. Maybe some people aren't taking enough coconut oil for it to work? What do people think? If only I had discovered Coconut oil before!
