Just wondering if it is really necessary to take chlorella or other binders (I think Dr.K recommends this) before the far infrared sauna?
I've done some searching on this site and it seems that most people don't do binders before. I just bought one and really don't want to redistribute metals around my body/brain. It seems like most people do ok though w/ out binders.
thoughts?

yes, absolutely ; plus constant wiping off and a shower right afterward.
If you are still very metal toxic, do not use sauna without guidance by a knowledgable practitioner. You do not want to move the metals INTO the brain and that happens often making things worse.
Take care.
p.s. BINDERS bind all neurotoxins, so we should be taking binders all the time.

I never did well with binders. I did better just focusing on keeping the bowels moving. We're all different.

I did not take binders, didn't even think about it, oops.
And...after 5 days in my infrared sauna, my neuro symptoms went crazy, sooo sick. My vision still has not recovered, though most other symptoms went back to "usual sick." I have been too scared to take any more saunas! Just my experience. TS

It has been a little more than 2 years, that I'm using my infra-red sauna. I never took binders, but I did take Tri-salts before and during and I constantly wipe myself while in the sauna to avoid the re-absorption of the toxins.
But it took me a year, to go uo to 30 minutes. The first time I did 10 minutes of infra-red sauna, I was dying the day after. Big difference with the regular sauna that I did during the herx and right away felt the relive.
Only 2 years later I can take the full advantage of my infra-red sauna, during these 2 years I have continuously chelated heavy metals.
