I vaguely remember reading something somewhere (and lymenet is 95% of what I read related to lyme and co's) about a connection between early breast development and bartonella.

I have an 8 yr old daughter who has been treated for congenital lyme but not specifically for bartonella. She has not tested positive for bartonella (although only tested through Quest), but I still consider that she might have it.

She seems to be developing super early, although I know it's not totally unheard of for girls to start to develop breasts as young as 7. I guess I shouldn't connect EVERYTHING to lyme and coinfections, but she has looked like she is developing breasts for a long time now.

Does anyone know what I am referring to as far as a connection between this and lyme or specifically bartonella? I read that it even reversed with treatment. Not sure where though..

Thanks. CB

I remember reading somewhere that some children who had precocious development tested positive for Lyme.

Lyme Disease can affect the hormones.
She might have a cyst on the pituitary gland.
