I think you will get a better response if you post this on the "Medical Questions" board.
Wish I could help, but I know there are people there who will.

Sounds like a positive result to me.
Do you have a LLMD?

It seems to me like you must not be seeing a real LLMD. The test results which were positive were ELISA results I think -- most LLMD's would not even bother running that test.
I think it said your Western Blot was negative -- but the real issue is does the lab report give any more information on the Western Blot -- does it list any band numbers at all?
If the doc will not make a diagnosis without a positive test then you need to be looking for another doc. Lyme and tickborne diseases are clinical diagnoses.
Sure it is great to have a positive test -- but if the doc won't diagnose and treat based on symptoms and medical history then they are not a real LLMD. And I would not waste my time and money treating with someone who does not know enough to help you get your life back.

The test was ordered by primary doc but looking for LLMD.... The test was positive abnormal... And high on IgM's which if im reading otjer websites right it means that the lymes was reactivated. It was reading at 1.88 when its supposed to be under 0.90 and yes there was bands p41 absent p39 absent and p23 present. It says abnormal... Im really tryin to figure out why i have so many issues and they all point to lymes. Headaches dailt, bone pains, always tired no matter how long i sleep, memory loss from day to day,... My words when i speak is even gettin stuttery. Im a mess

Definitely get a LLMD. ELISA tests are not accurate. Are those the only bands that were reported to you? 23, 39 and 41? There are MANY other Lyme specific bands which is why Igenex is a better lab to go with.
A western blot from a regular lab or interpreted by a doctor that is not well-read on Lyme disease is useless.
Band 23 which did show up present for you is outer surface protein C (OSP C). It is specific to Borrelia (Lyme). If you do another Western Blot through Igenex with a LLMD you may have other bands show up which can help to further validate it for you and your doctor if necessary.
