Sorry I keep asking dumb questions, so many sx overlap on paper, I find it helpful to ask everyone. So.. which infection causes one's face to flush? I don't turn red, just hot and prickly on my face, especially in the evenings, and a little sweaty at times.

I also notice my face flushed a bit in afternoons. My guess is babs.

Thx-has treatment helped this? Has it helped your fatigue?

I'm on round 2 of mepron. I did round 1 last year for about 5 months, then went after Bart. At first, my symptoms got worse during weeks 4 thru 9, then some improvements with muscle pain and stiffness, short term memory, and fatigue and motivation.
I started up round 2 about two months ago when symptoms started to creep back. Also started IV Rocephin in December so most days I don't know what end is up.
I do notice some improvements overall in the past year with my second LLMD. She keeps adding or changing ABX combos every few months so its like two steps forward and one back trying to track if I'm doing better.

I don't think it's always as cut and dry as to which co-infection. I have found I get flushed/prickly face from food allergies caused by leaky gut/gastritis caused by h. pylori, yeast, metals and who knows what else. Of course that has just been my experience. Hard to know what is causing what. Hope you feel better soon!

My facial and chest flushing (and fatigue) was from thyroid that was messed up because of the little buggers.
After a year of Armour, I did not have it anymore.

Interesting guys- didn't think of all those things. My thyroid has always been in the 'normal' range and even my LLMD didn't feel the need to address it..?? Might ask a new ND about it. Thx.
