I dont have a yeast infeciton so why does everything call it a Candida diet?? I'm truly wondering.

Hope this explains it.
you follow the diet to prevent systematic yeast. Antibiotics, antimicrobials, and infections (lyme etal) throw off the body's beneficial bacteria/digestion.
The diet helps the body sustain itself without over work or excessive toxins.

Just about everyone on long term abx will eventually get yeast/candida. What you want to do is PREVENT this as much as possible, because once you get yeast, it is an uphill battle.
VERY HARD to get rid of yeast.
Also, the candida/yeast diet prevents the spirochetes from feeding on the sugar and starches you are avoiding on the diet.

Lymetoo is so right. Once you get yeast, good luck battling it. I've been battling it ever since (wish I knew then what I know now).
