I was dormant a few times and I have silver fillings. Anyone gotten better with silver? [confused]

Me.

About half way through my lyme and coinfection treatment, I asked my doc if I needed to get my metal fillings out. (He never brought the subject up.)

He said, "In your case, evidently not."

So, it must be an individual thing.

I also had root canals and still do.

I had amalgams under crowns and root canals for fortysome years before they started to cause me problems and just about killed me. I would not be alive today had I not removed all of it. I am still detoxing metals. But today that is a lifelong chore. Cremation in parts of Europe is not possible while metals remain in the mouth. It is illegal.

We see enough Alzheimers and general dementia -- and we have the proof that mercury destroys the brain.

My son is completely well despite his silver fillings.

My husband paid about $15,000 ten years ago to get his removed and he has never gotten well.

I am not even bothering looking into getting mine removed.

I think it may depend on your genetics & how you detoxify. If you want to do any chelation - it's best not to have any mercury in your mouth. If you have been exposed to other metals, you can't chelate them if you still have silver amalgam fillings.

Being well may have something to do with being able to detoxify various things. It can be a process of elimination (in more ways than one). Some pathogens can create toxins in the body, as well as, mold/yeast/fungus, parasites, chemicals & metals.

If you want to do any serious detoxification - it's best not to have the amalgam fillings. Metals in the body can promote yeast growth. It depends on how far you want to go to get well or how your genetics handle riding your body of toxins.

Ditto to what sparkle said.

I had mine out back in 1991 and went into remission until a new bite. So it seemed to matter at first, but when bitten again in 2003, I got sick despite not having amalgams. It's hard to say, and I agree that it's individual.

I did, despite being sick for more than a decade. I still have 4, but do have plans to get them out in the near future.

I agree that it's an individual thing.

I was surprised Dr. OZ brought up the leaching of mercury from amalgams on one of his shows. His advice was to replace them with composites ONLY when necessary.

He said it is chewing that causes the mercury to leach so if you take chlorella with every meal, it will bind with it. That is just one idea of how to address it without removing them. I have high iron and chlorella is very high in iron so I quit using it for the time being. I think cilantro would also help.

As for being able to get well without getting them removed - I hope so. Most doctors do not require removal or even mention it and they do have at lease some patients that have recovered.

The composite fillings shrink so they can fall out more easily especially when it is a large filling. So I might not be able to get mine removed without pulling the teeth and I don't want to do that.

I was told it is worst to take them out as the mercury can leak even more...

I have mine still in and only have replaced them when they come out or need to be fixed.

My cousin took hers all out and did not have any change in health.

Guess it is up to the person.

Ditto (individual thing).

Personally, I would rather not have mercury in my head. It's been there for 40+ years... so, I'm taking them out gradually. I have 2 left. We are also exposed to mercury in other ways - through food or breathing it.

Respectfully - I don't really see how eating chlorella is going to prevent vapors from the teeth or elsewhere from going into the brain... It's not a bad idea but it's kind of like putting a band-aide over the problem - in my opinion.

Dr. Chris Shade has a good talk on YouTube about mercury exposure. It probably effects each of us differently. It a toxic poison whichever way you look at it. It shouldn't be in our bodies.

Amalgams are 50% mercury... It's a pretty large anount.
