Had a go-round with the pharmacy yesterday. Insurance had covered a quantity of 20, so I thought I was picking up 20 syringes.

I got 10. Pharmacist said they are billed in ml, and each syringe is 2ml. So the 20 units were 10 syringes of 2ml each.

I called my ins to verify the units, but only found one person who could do basic math, and nobody who could answer the question.

I am paying $70 for 10 shots, with ins picking up the rest.

Does that sound ballpark?

That s great price! My insurance won't cover at all and it's about $60 per syringe!
