is it a blanket rule that if you are on abx, that you shouldn't go in the sun? i know doxy is a no-go. any others or is it user dependent?

having a nice day today and i'd love to go out for a bit..im on plaq,omnicef,zith.

no-doxy is the biggest...and hope others will answer...maybe tetracycline? all the cyclines?

amox, zith, flagyl are all fine-most are fine

When you get your prescriptions filled, always take a minute to look at the package inserts.

Lots of medications can cause sun sensitivity, not just antibiotics.

From memory, I know for sure Levaquin and birth control pills can increase your risk of sun sensitivity/burns. They are common ones.
