I have been treating Lyme for 4 weeks where do I go from here and what do I do with regards to treatment of these metals?

Where do I start with this, some say I should wait on the chelating and some say treat parasites first.
And I am just wondering what others would suggest about starting this chelating.
I tend to agree about treating parasites first but can both be done at the same time?
Also can treating metals first cause more issues or have some chelates early on in Lyme treatment and had benefit from it?

Can anyone help me with this?

Many bites has given me some good suggestions but I am so lost and confused as to what to do

We're all high in lead/mercury. First get bugs under control (as manybites has recommended) then consider some light metal chelation

Shouldn't my llmd know not to start chelating yet?

Maya, if both of your doctors want you to chelate then listen to THEM, not anyone else on this board. That is why THEY are your doctors and WE are not. They know you and your medical history better than any of us over the Internet ever could. Just take a deep breath and TRUST them.....

What method of chelation are they planning on using? Have you been tested for MTHFR? I've read that some with MTHFR mutations can't tolerate certain kinds of chelation. This is a very lengthy article but here's a link that mentions it:
Not all doctors are familiar with MTHFR mutations.

What was your Lead level?
What do you mean by "high'?

Are you treating Lyme & Cos with these Docs?
If not... chelating can get you in deep doo-doo (My experience and many others)

Hey guys sorry I didnt answer sooner , got stuck at work, thanks your great responses I spoke to my llmd again about this again today and she wants me to chelate but very slowly and has warned me about the worsening of die off due to chelating and breaking down biofilms releasing bacteria.
She does think though with my load of lead I do need to do something about it now as it is likely harming me and giving the bacteria the upper hand
She also wants me doing major glutothione , both Iv and daily pills.
So seems to be a very good llmd
