So..I was doing great. The best I had felt in years.

Then WHAM..it all changes. About 3.5 weeks ago my reflux went through the roof. My GERD got bad, heartburn, hoarse voice, etc.

I got woozy and felt a bit drunk. Flush face, red ears, nausea.

It got a bit better and now it just comes and goes. I have a constant dull headache (mild). My quads hurt. My neck/back hurt. Hearburn is still bad.

Is it Babs or Bart? I doubt it is lyme.

Thoughts?

I hope it means I'm hitting something, but worry it is a backslide.

Could be babesia but hoarse voice sounds like FL1953. Did you get any mosquito bites around that time?

Hoarse voice is common with reflux. Acid gets in the esophagus and irritates the lungs. I've had reflux for years and know it.

I tested negative for FL1953.

Have you treated yeast? I was feeling great! then...I took Diflucan and got most of the symptoms you mention above. I started getting sweats and flushing again too. Unless Diflucan hits one of those infections, Im thinking yeast is a huge deal for me. I can't be sure I haven't relapsed on something, but at this point Im just tired of thinking Im always relapsing or that I still have these infections.

Sadly, this is the nature of treating these infections. It stinks!

To me the nausea, headache, flushed face, and neck pain sound like Babs. You are treating it, so the meds are probably stirring things up. Babs tends to cycle more often than Lyme.

Try to focus on the good days you have had and know they will come again.

Bart. This happened to me. I got bit then four months later, massive GERD.

Could be yeast. Dr B's guidelines mention every symptom that I"m experiencing as potentially being yeast.

My diet has been crap as of late.

You didn't get bit by anything recently did you?

Do you have a diflucan or 2 around???
