Hello Everyone.

I know that we have a handful of long timers on Ivermectin. What is your current status? Do you feel that it is helping you to turn the corner?

I had to go off of the Ivermection due to a new infection that popped up, but I will be going back on (cautiously).

In the interim I tried a few Mimosa Pudicas; I can't really tell if it is killing anything or not. If it is it's painless.

Whenever I do any drugs now I get bad insomnia so I just do the ivermectin now and then. The low fat vegan diet seems to be keeping things under control for me. I am feeling better and better.
I am very cautious about saying that - could jinx myself. I also started LDN and am tolerating that fine.

That's good to hear Neff. I tried the low fat Vegan diet and I was very weak, I had to start adding more protein.

Anyone else have results on Ivermectin. I do believe it gave me a little piece of my brain back.

I think ivermectin is helpful. I took the herbs for a couple of years but the ivermectin really pulled me around the corner with the parasite treatment. I'm glad I did the herbs first but the ivermectin put the cherry on top - so to speak.

I don't think it's something to take all of the time. I was loosley following Dr. K's protocol. I took the mimosa in herb form but I don't know if it really did much.

Low fat vegan has protein. It does not mean only eat vegetables. Beans, rice, quinoa, soy etc all have protein.

Haley, are you seeing a dr who rx'd the Ivermectin, or are you doing the horse paste? If the later, do you just eat it, bad taste and all, or what? How do you know how to dose, if self-rx'ing? Thanks!

curious myself... having had a horse until a couple of years ago, it just seems weird..
Mimosa ...anyone had good results with this??

I took the horse wormer for two weeks. I sandwiched it in some plain yogurt to get it down. I ordered stromectol, the human version in a pill, and that is much easier to tolerate as it does not have that strong chemical after taste. You can buy it online from a Canadian based pharmacy but it is mailed from India.

The horse wormer is a pump with amount to dose on the side up to 1200 pounds. I took my body weight. Stromectol comes in 3 to 12 mg pills. There is a formula you can use to figure out how much you need and I needed 12.

As I was having so much trouble with insomnia and the drugs seemed to aggravate it, I only take the stromectol now and then.
I am doing ok on just the diet right now. Ideally I would like to see Dr. F, be tested and get his treatment protocol rather than just guess. Everyone seems to be doing something different.

Yes, Rumigirl. I did get an RX for the med. I take what I can handle (nowhere near what the recommended dosage is). I could not bring myself to do the horse paste.

I'd like to hear from Metalic Blue and Bea Siebert to see if they are making progress.

Haley, even though I only started Ivermectin about three weeks ago, it definitely is having an effect. I'm only taking 1/2 3 mg. pill every other day, and afraid to up the dose.

I can feel it in my head, and definitely have to bind and detox.

what are the symptoms that Ivermectin is helping?

Posted by Haley (Member # 22008) on :

That is great to hear bailypup, looking forward to hearing more. I was taking the same dosage. I'm nervous abut re-starting as this med makes me very tired and brings out my strep, but I will start again.

CD57 - I'm sure it all depends on the individual. For me- it helped my brain to function better, it also worked on an infection in my eye that I now believe is related to parasites, it also caused me to break out in pimples all over which showed me that there were parasites in the subcutaneous tissues.

I also have a rash on the palm of my hand - it's the same rash I had on ZymexII, which is a systemic enzyme that targets parasites.

Eye symptoms have also improved. I don't have the irritation and grainy feeling; sight is better unless I'm feeling toxic and detoxing.

I am doing very well Haley !!
I have gone through rough months due to low back
And spine pain that debilitated me and has needed expertise of many doctirs and ongoing injection therapies to calm infannation.
But I belie e it's the buggers being disrupted and I am on ivermectin ( prescribed ) and doxy and what a great combo !
Have to be extremely careful with dosing and I have a technique that is not anything I can just not down ..
We should chat !
