More symptoms from my son. He has severe arthritis pain that comes and go's, but one thing seems to persist continually. He has a trigger finger that is extremely painful. I googled Lyme & Trigger Finger and actually found a fair amount of information that they can be related.

I was wondering if anyone on the board has experienced trigger fingers.

Yep, I just had a trigger thumb fixed, as well as both wrists for carpel tunnel syndrome. ick.

I ran across an interesting article:

I'm not sure how it all fits together - but it's interesting.

Yes, it hurts like get-out! And it does happen in relationship to Lyme. Sorry he is having such a difficult time. Hope he is feeling better soon. Thanks for being a great advocate on his behalf!

Kind of different question - but wondering if operations have a negative effect on people with Lyme.

Often they do. Most definitely.
