From what I've been told, flucanazole does not work for black mold. What do people then take? Besides silver...

Allicin?

But you have to get away from the location, too, until remediation is complete. Or otherwise close it off, professionally, while the work is done.

Identifying Environmental Illness and Mold Exposure in Patients with Persistent Lyme Disease.

Lisa L. Nagy, MD Video $15.

(She is NOT A LLMD, however, she understands the kind of toxicity issues faced by many with lyme. She did not have lyme but overcame very serious MCS. She spoke at the recent ILADS conference.

It's a great presentation to see. The DVD can be ordered. Great detail about toxicity issues also here:

I've seen the ehcd website, and I already know I'm allergic to many molds. However, I've since left that residence. Yet my doctor thinks I've come in contact with black mold, and that mold has persisted in my system, and caused me to have continued symptoms.

He wants me to do the $700 tests from RealTimeLabs, and wants to be able to publish the material as his work and studies. Yet he doesn't want to contribute to paying for it, and says he's already 90% sure I have it given my parents basement. But he won't prescribe despite his 'confidence'.

He did this same routine with XMRV and the WP Institute as well. He put me on the XMRV drugs for 9 months and totally f*cked up my system. I almost sued him.

He wants to be able to keep me as a methodically processed patient - one thing at a time for 3 years now - prime for his research he wants to publish.

I'd prefer to just self treat with anti-fungals for Black Mold if that is the case and save myself $700 and a month of waiting.

Anyone know which anti-fungals work for Black Mold?

Cholestyramine is what Dr S uses in his books

apparently Lamisil pills work?...

Cholestyramine is a binder, not a killer.

hey thehause, it's a shame you haven't gotten any more responses here. Have you tried any other forums? I would be interested to know the answer to this question too. I just got the test results back on my house a few hrs ago and revealed black mold as well as other unhealthy molds.

Message me if you have found any further info. if you don't mind

CSM is what Dr S recommends for treatment in his Mold Warrior book

CSM = Cholestyramine?? It is a binder to toxins, not a killer of fungi (mold) from what I've read. to kill mold, you need Lamisil.

Thehause Have you tried the lamisil or any other anti fungals yet? Has anything helped? I have diflucan but not sure what it will do for mold issues.

I am on Diflucan but supposedly Diflucan does not treat black mold. My doc wants me to get a $700 test, even though he's 90% sure I have it - his words. So instead of spending $700 on out of network coverage and paying for his research paper, I'm just going to order Lamisil online and maybe some CSM.

Hause,

You can do an anti-fungal nasal spray to begin with. Here is a site and a doctor that talks about what to do: http://www.sinusitiswellness.com/protocol-ridding-body-of-fungus.html

I have done the anti-fungal nasal spray, as well as heavy duty yeast tx. They go hand in hand: mold/yeast.

Use an air filter in your room.

If you have swelling (visible) - you may only notice it on a look back basis- looking at photo's from 4 months ago and present- a product that took the over inflated look out of me is called LYMPHOMYOSOT by Heel. http://www.iherb.com/Heel-BHI-Lymphomyosot-Oral-Drops-1-6-fl-oz-50-ml/15576

get out of the affected environment or you will continue on the merry-go-round.

Good luck!
