Wondering about a friends test results. the doctors told her she doesn't have LYme, but to me, she clearly does. Any suggestions? Positive for: 18 KDA IGG 39 KDA IGG 41 KDA IGG 58 KDA IGG 23 KDA IGM
What are your thoughts???

Several lyme-specific bands are showing up 18, 23 and 39. I would say positive, but I'm not a doctor.
I would suggest to her that she goes to a LLMD. Is she open to treatment or does she believe the diagnosis of negative?

That test does not meet the tracking criteria used by the CDC to track Lyme cases. It is not intended to be a diagnostic criteria according to the CDC itself, so your friend's doctor should not be using tracking criteria as diagnostic criteria as this doctor seems to be doing.
With Lyme specific bands and band 41, as quoted from Dr. S's book, along with symptoms, LLMD's typically treat. Lyme is a clinical diagnosis. Tests are only supposed to be supportive of the diagnosis, not the sole basis of diagnosis.

sixgoofy kids... I find very little info to consider as far as the CDC goes. As for what we have found in the last few years, I'm wondering about these results. I'd be truly suprised to hear that anyone would state that this was not Lyme. And labs can prove a person has it...

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. I believe you misread what I said. I edited to make it more clear.
Labs can CONFIRM that a person has it, but they are not the sole diagnostic criteria. Many people are not fortunate enough to have tests that prove exposure. It seems your friend's test shows exposure to Lyme.
