My skin is getting drier by the day despite the 4 L of liquid I drink. I also have this redish texture to it sometimes. My skin is also hot to touch almost all day long.

This photo is taking on my hip/half and my buttock, where I have also developed years back a strange looking "hole" that keeps generating some sort of fat that I always squeeze out of it.

If I was 80 years old I would understand the skin dryness but I am 27.

Babesia?

Your skin will seem very dry if you do not get enough Omega 3's.
Are you taking supplemental fish oil?

When I started getting enough Omega 3's, I noticed that my hands were no longer chapped in the wintertime.
The skin on my heels had been rough and cracked, and that got better.

The skin on the back of my upper arms had blocked pores and felt rough...fish oil helped the blocked pores to liquify and it cleared up.

Fish oil may also help the large pore to clear up.

When my LLMD saw how dry my skin was he put me on thyroid meds despite low normal test results.

My LLND said my dry skin was because the fat was not in my cells the way it was supposed to be.

Lyme and co-infections can cause overlapping symptoms so I don't think you can pin it down to babesia or lyme, it could be either.

Please discuss it with your LLMD. I'd ask to have my thyroid levels checked.

Good idea Carol. Although I still take fish oil for other reasons, unfortunately it did nothing for my dry skin but it may help others depending on the cause.

The skin feeling hot to the touch is probably inflammation which *could* be caused by infection. Discharge in the area may also indicate an infection. Something to ask your LLMD about.

Babesia can cause little red dots called petechia but again, your LLMD should take a look.

I've looked up petechia TerryK ...

I also have small red dots on my skin as long as I know myself.

They look like this (and they come and go)

I do take Omega 3 Fish Oils and dozens of other supplements.

This is probably Bartonella-like-Organism, but check other Bart symptoms as well.

Your "hole" is most likely a cyst. What you are squeezing out of it is pus. These cysts are generally harmless. You will likely have it the rest of your life.

It may form a bump when the pus fills it up. If it ever gets really red and swollen, then you may have to have it lanced or cut out.

Otherwise, it is nothing to worry about. Very common to have these.
