So I started parasite treatment today. I am taking Hannah Kroeger's Wormwood combo. After only 2 pills, my head hurts so bad!!!

It feels like a severe pressure headache. My whole head hurts even my neck and upper back. I am not on any antibiotics right now. I expected stomach issues but don't really have any except for mild nausea.

How can I expect to feel while treating parasites and for how long?
Thanks for any help!

Linnada- What are you taking for parasites and what are your herx symptoms??

I take activated charcoal before bed, milk thistle for my liver and burbur to help with the herx symptoms/detox.

I'm taking Salt/C 15 g per day and I just started ParaGone from RenewLife. My herx symptoms are anxiety, insomnia, night sweats and my normal dizziness has gotten a lot worse.

I just also tested positive for lead and I go to the doctor next week and should be starting some chelation.

I had a glut IV push today but it only helped for about an hour.

I found a lot of long stringy worms in the toilet today. Finally convinced my skeptical husband that I do have parasites!

Parasite treatment will make you feel horrible if you have parasites. They put off a lot of toxins when they die off. I took a lot of binders, but you also have to keep the bowels moving.

Linnada,

answered your pm

15g a day of salt/c to start is a lot. If you start herxing too much, go back to a lower dose. If you get diarrhea, it's usually a sign of die off. As sixgoofykids says, parasite tx can make you feel really sick.

Jamers,

the head pressure is a herx. There is a brain/gut connection, and that's why you feel the head pressure. Google brain/gut connection.

Parasite tx can take several yrs depending how deep the infection is. Some of these parasites lay up to 200,000 eggs a day.

I started Salt/C at 1/4 tsp. and worked up over a week. I actually kept feeling better until I added the herbs.

Thanks everyone. I also have been feeling weak and very fatigued. I can't imagine doing this for years but I will keep switching up the parasite herbs every month until I feel better.

I did a Vitamin C flush (no salt), which is just high doses of Vit C to get the bowels moving and there were some wormy looking things in there. I was finally convinced that I have some parasites. So the worms don't like vitamin C alone either. Im going to try salt/c when I feel I can handle it.

manybites-I think I may have some babs left too. The fatigue/headaches were present while treating Babesia.
