I haven't been here in a while but I'm back with a few questions, hoping for some input. I searched and didn't see a lot of info on this.

I have been treated for Lyme for the last 3 years and for mold/biotoxin illness for the last year.

My TGF-b1 test was high at 15,600. I am assuming this indicates continued WDB exposure? Anything else associated with elevated TGF-b1 besides that and cancer? I am trying to assume mold and not cancer at this point.

My MMP9 was within the reference range but I have had elevated Leptin and low MSH in the past. Still waiting on the C3a and C4a to come back.

As a side note, I also was diagnosed with POTS this month after a rapid onset of tachycardia. Wondering if this is just another odd issue or tied to the Lyme or Mold issue. I really feel like my Lyme is well under control at this point.

Any thoughts on any piece of this - tgf-b1, mold, pots, all appreciated.

Aimee

My hubby's POTS is related to lyme and babesia, although we are thinking he may have mold issuejs as well.

I think I recall reading somewhere that high TGF-b1 can be an indicator of Bartonella too. Could Lyme or mold too.

I would like to know if it is infection or mold exposure for myself too. Did a major renovation on the house so I think for me it is still infection.

It does make the situation much more complicated when you are mold succeptable too.

I would say POTS is related to babesia also.

My daughter's was elevated at 21,000. Our dr. doesn't think mold is a problem. She described it as a "cytokine storm." Diagnosed w/ Lyme, Bartonella, Q Fever, FL 1953.
