Hi there, I've been treating aggressively for a few months and the last two weeks in particular I have felt much better. Many symptoms still present but far lessened in intensity and some gone altogether.

However, early this afternoon I started having some funny vision again, then a few hours later added hypersensitivity to sound and light, and now I can't focus on anything and my brain is screaming migraine on the way.

I don't get it. I haven't had these particular symptoms in a couple months. The only thing that has changed is I stopped diflucan and added Alinia this past Friday. Does that make any sense?

I just am feeling discouraged that I would suddenly have a neuro episode when I thought they were gone and had been making steady upward progress. Thanks in advance.

I hope it passes soon. Its so frustrating, full moon yesterday, maybe that had something to do with it.I know alinia is kicking my sisters butt.

Thanks, lyme, I thought it could be Alinia but wouldn't the herx been at the 3-4 day mark? Today makes day 5. I don't know about the full moon thing--haven't noticed correlation before.

Alinia made me herx terribly the first time I started it. I had to stop it and restart it again. The second time I started it I took half the dose and worked my way up to the full dose.

A paper was circulated here recently that diflucan helped make abx more effective against lyme.

It *could be* that you're seeing a resurgence of lyme because you went off diflucan. Assuming, of course, that you're on some other abx for the lyme.
