I have lyme. According to the Igenex i do not have co infections.

Before I knew I had lyme, I had breast pain around my monthly period.

Now I am experiencing breast pain most of the time. It is reminsicent of when i was breast feeding. I have children and even when they go to hug me, it is painful.

I thought I could be pregnant, but I am not. This is going on for the last few months.

I noticed tonight that the veins on my chest seem to be very blue, similar to when i was pregnant or breast feeding. Not as bad though.

I am on the following medication/supplements:
monodox
Fish oil
Vitamin D
Resitstant Microbes
AG Immune
NAC
Alpha Lipoic Acids
Beta C
Magnesium Malate
Burbur
Buloke
Diflucan

Any advice? I am going to my lyme dr next week, but I am concerned.

What is going on?

thanks.

I hadn't made the connection, however, I have also had similar breast pain. I do remember reading breast pain in a symptom list. I can't recall if it was Lyme or a co-infection. I wish I could be more helpful or informative, but I wanted to let you know you aren't alone!

Thanks so much for responding.

I am not happy that you have the same issue, but it is also nice to know that I am not going crazy!

Do you have any cysts or fibroids in your breasts?

I have a tiny one that moves/changes with my cycle, and noticed when I was on Bolouke, it seemed to be
'working on it'. Actually seems better now. I'm off Bolouke.

As Bolouke breaks up fibroids- not sure I'm wording this correctly-
just a thought, something I noticed.

Not sure how old you are, but keep up on your mammograms and all that, and do self checks-
I had mine all checked out some years ago when I noticed it.

Thanks for responding.

I am 38 years old and I have never had a mammogram. I do have fibroids cysts though.

I going to call tomorrow and see if i can schedule a mammogram.

I know other women who have gotten swollen breasts, breast pain, and even milk out of their breasts. That is the power of lyme disease.

You may want to squeeze the breasts and see if any milk comes out of them.

You'll see this in the symptom list on page 10 of Burrascano:

"Unexplained milk production;
breast pain"

So, this would likely be a tough time for you to have a mammogram. They really squeeze each breast between two glass plates. It is painful with normal breasts. Each breast is squeezed flat twice--from different angles each time. It is tough.

If you get milk from your breasts, maybe you can have peace of mind about what is going on and can schedule the mammogram for a better time when you are not sore.

first time i heard of that---must have glazed right over it in the guidelines

i had untreated lyme for a long time. i had and nursed my last child with undx lyme. i then went on to have milk leakage for 10 yrs...especially if i held a newborn or heard a baby cry. i never related this to lyme

also i have had regular mamms and always tell them about the shooting pains i have in my nipples. i also told them about the milk production up til my baby was 10 yrs old. they never said anything about lyme...ans i dont think my llmds did either.

i started txing lyme after 10 yrs and that is when the milk stopped. but i still have the shooting pains
