I just started usding my EMEM5D. i PLUGGED IT IN AND TURNED EVERYTHING ON AND PROGRAMMED IN THE NUMBERS FOR lyme, 432, 800, 4328 and 10000, then sat for two minutes.

Was it working the whole time I was programming the numbers in?

It doesn't say what to do once the numbers are programmed in.

Does it sweep or you kept changing the numbers?? I don't change that often. I usually run 15 min of each of two frequencies.

But don't do that YET!! [Eek!]

(on my EMEM5a)

You can only run one (frequency) number at a time.

Each time you (carefully) roll over to a different number, the bulb light pulse and fan sound will change a bit with each new number.

Is that what you mean?

I punched in 432 then hit hz, then punched in 800 then hz, then 4328 then hz then 10000 then hz.

You telling me I only got basically the benefit of the 10000? It doesn't emit all of them for the two mnutes? I'm gonna have to do each one for two minutes?

My EMEM5a "key pad" rolls numbers, no punching. Still, assuming there are just minor difference in your EMEM5D, my guess is:

Q: "I'm gonna have to do each one for two minutes?"

Yes
--------------

Unless it's a programmable board / machine that SWEEPS (and that is usually a different kind of rife), you have to manually run each number (frequency) for the time you want for each one.

No longer than 30 minutes max and then cool as per mfg. instructions (my unit requires, anyway).

Okay...........so you punch in the number and at the point you push the hz button that's when you time the start of the treatment on that frequency???

My key pad is different but we likely have the same machine. Can you refer to the printed instructions with the machine.

I think the same person built yours as did mine (I just looked back at a post in April where you said it was on the way from --.)

If you can't figure it out from the printed instructions sent with the machine, you may be able to call if they gave you a home number and the time or day parameter of such calls.

Maybe others will be along who have the newer kind of key pad as yours is.

My guess is that since your key pad requires an actual punch (whereas mine changes as soon as the rollover is complete) then, yes,

with each new "engage" punch after you've entered the number you want:

* if the blue light pulse of the actual rife bulb is different and

* if the sound of the fan speed is a bit different,

then you will have successfully changed frequency.

* Be certain the decimal points are in all the right places, too. That really matters.

Thank you Keebler.

There is no phone number and the directions are not clear plus my brain fog is bad so I suspect I didn't do the first session correctly.

I wonder if I should redo the first three frequencies or wait a week???

I would do them all now.

But not too close to bedtime until you know how this will all work for you (why I say that, I'm not sure but it's just instinct, I guess).

I don't think there is anything to "re-do" as I don't think they ever ran in the first place.

Always end with 10K (10,000), though. You can run 10K (the number, not the race) everyday if you like. It's not lyme but one to settle inflammation, and help prevent a herx.

Drink water afterwards, too, or during.

ALWAYS - ALWAYS - ALWAYS UNPLUG MACHINE when done with each session. Best to also use with a power surge protector but still:

NEVER run if thunder or lighting are in the air. UNPLUG. You want this machine to last for a lifetime or more - don't let lighting zap it.

If you know power crews are in your neighborhood working on electrical lines or transformers, wait - keep it unplugged during that time.

If there may be black outs or brown outs during heat waves, also wait to use it until there is less drain on the whole electrical grid.

If you have a window air conditioner (or a space heater in the winter) I would not use this on the same electrical circuit as when the AC kicks in with a condenser push, etc., that could affect the rife machine. (Or a heater when it just kicks on again.)

Just use an outlet not on the same circuit.

Never use an extension cord (other than a very solid surge protector).

[Due to his private family life needing to be private, he may no longer encourage home calls. Understandable. Tomorrow, though, do look back over the information page. It took me a few tries to understand it. He had to talk me through it by phone.]
