Are colonics safe to do? My massage therapist seems to think they will help me immensely with detox, but I have been afraid to try one as of yet.

I did colonics twice weekly for 3 weeks. I was too ill to do coffee enemas at home. I was taking narcotics, bedridden, severly dehydrated and needed intervention.

The first couple times I got flushes and nausea. This is from sludge on the intestinal walls breaking loose and moving. Quickly relieved by taking peppermint candy. Other visits I knew what to expect and was more relaxed.

The colonist was very professional and made me feel at ease. Her office was very sterile.

I would not be opposed to doing them again but since I have been on the cactus juice I don't need them and I'm off the narcotics as well.

After clean-out I was given a flush of probiotics to reestablish the good flora in the colon.

Yes absolutely, they've been a big part of my recovery.

I have been so impressed with them that I bought the home unit. Best money I ever spent.
Being that a single colonic costs $80 you can break even pretty quickly with a home unit.

Better for the environment too.....as a plastic hose isn't thrown in the trash after each colonic.
