My knee itself is not hurting, no joint pain I mean.

It's the area behind it and on the inside side that burns and the veins swell. Are there lymph nodes here?

Someone please tell me how you got rid of this burning and swelling around the knee please?

Thanks!

Maybe it is a baker's cyst?

I don't particularly feel anything like a cyst. It just hurts to touch anywhere around my knee, especially on the side where my thigh and knee meet and the popliteal vein is located.

You've experienced this nonna? sounds like babs?

thanks

"Clusters of lymph nodes are mostly found in the underarm, pelvis, neck, abdomen, and behind your knee."

More info. here:

Personally, I'd do a very gentle massage of the area.

Knees are a common site for borrelia. When I started to treat lyme my knees swelled up and became very inflamed and sore. I was told that the die off causes inflammation.
