Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of a place to buy, mepron and Zithromax without a prescription.
I am pretty sure I have Babesia and need to treat ASAP.
Not seeing LLMD till Aug 20. Thanks to all. Posted by lymenotlite (Member # 33166) on :
It's very expensive so I hope you can afford it. The price of a three month supply that I received was about $3800 and the insurance company paid it.

- Insurance will not cover anything that is not prescribed.
Mepron can be a very rough ride. It's really important not to do this alone, but to have LL doctor to oversee your treatment.
Instead, yet still best as part of an overall plan: Cryptolepis, an herbal tincture. It's far less expensive than Mepron, far easier to tolerate and has shown good results for some.

I do NOT recommend that you take mepron without being under a doctor's supervision.
A good friend of mine started on mepron with a lyme doctor and turned yellow shortly after completing her first month of the medicine.
I remember her calling me and telling me she wasn't sure, but she thought she looked a little yellow compared to normal. I told her she needed to tell the doctor immediately. He faxed an order for blood work to her lab so that she could go there immediately and also had her stop the mepron.
Sure enough, her liver enzymes were extremely high. Because of this, she had to totally stop her lyme treatment for 5 months. That's how long it took for the enzymes to return to normal.
With this med, you have to have monthly blood tests, or even bi-monthly blood tests to be sure your body is handling the medication.
You don't want to destroy your liver by taking mepron unsupervised. If you destroy your liver, you have destroyed your life.
This is not a med you can take on your own and be confident that nothing bad will happen to you.
