Looking for Bb's DNA in stool in order to determine what will help?

Try looking for Bb's DNA in URINE. Betcha it is like this:

If Bb's proteins are going out/ excreted via the kidney, we may need to step up kidney functioning.

The kidneys also can step in to produce glucose from lactate and glutamine when glucose levels drop.

The liver uses lactate and alanine.

Stop liver gluconeogenesis....get the kidneys "busy"...making glucose and filtering out Bb's proteins.

Don't get dehydrated, but don't drink EXCESSIVE amounts of water either because it will mess with the electolyte balance.

Dr. J in CT has been testing for Bb's DNA in urine as a regular part of his office visits for years, realizing this is a good way of tracking active infections. I've wondered why more doctors don't do it.
