I've been having this sensation in my chest tonight, the same sensation that you would get if you were scared or surprised. No pain, just a strange feeling that's uncomfortable. My blood pressure is good, so I'm not thinking it's heart related, but just curious to know if this is a Lyme thing or not.

I have had that same feeling in my stomach. Kinda like butterflies. Pretty sure it's a Lyme thing, just not sure what causes it. As long as your vital signs are okay, and you have no shortmess of breath, or chest pain you should be okay.

I had the same feeling...I describe it as "anxiety" in my chest. Like a vibrating feeling and giving me a sensation of being anxious. I don't know what infection. Doxycycline helped a lot with my initial symptoms. I think it helped this feeling.

Yes, exactly like an anxiety in my chest, the feeling of being scared and surprised.

This was one of my obvious first disseminated symptoms...while doxy has helped it still rears its ugly head during herxes and cycles. I equate it to going over a small hill in a car - that little uncomfortable rush.

Vibrations and anxiety for me were always associated with parasites.

I've had that, and used the word "anxiety" as the closest I could come up with.

That was one of my first symptoms. I think it is inflammation because mine can be alleviated with an ibuprofen. My MD said it was possible for the lymph nodes in the chest to be enlarged, thus causing this feeling.
