I am planing to start a detox program and Chlorella was one of the items that keeps comming up but I wonder since most of it comes from Japon if there are any source that ensures it is radiation free?

I was told that biopure is radiation free. That's what I use and really like it.

But where does it come from

King Chlorella. I contacted the company last year and they reassured that they had enough "raw product" to produce 2 year's worth of their supplement. In the meantime, they are working on a new source.
Also, I would completely trust Biopure.

Thanks all...
Tammy I see 2 King Chlorella. One by NutriCology and one by Allergy Research Group. Which one are you using

Wheatgrass Juice produced here in this country is another good option. www.evergreenjuices.com Posted by Tammy N. (Member # 26835) on :
I've used both... from what I understand, they are both the same company....one was suppose to be for practitioners and the other for regular retail.

Mountain Rose Herbs -- all kinds of greens powders but also see red stuff like Hibiscus Flower powder to make your own splendid beverage.
Excellent group - in Oregon.
I just emailed them and their reply states they have strict & multiple controls regarding the purity of their products, specifically regarding effects from the disaster in Japan. -

I was listening to a radio program about Fukishima. The host said he has a geiger counter & he tried it on some green tea & it was radioactive! I think he bought it in Nevada or Texas...
So, this is a big issue. I bought King Chlorela. I used to take the Japanese kind.
