Neither of us (hubby and I) has ever had a wart, so we know nothing about them. I Googled but did not find the answer I'm looking for.

Can a wart show up on the palm of your hand?? My husband has a nasty looking thing on his palm that just popped up recently.

It ITCHES. He tried opening it with a needle today and he said it didn't really hurt but it made it itch like crazy.

So what IS THIS??

Warts are caused by a virus. Has he been gardening lately?

nope, HOWEVER... he had to change a flat tire out at his dad's ranch ... in the dirt... in 100 degree weather, no less.

Plantars wart which are caused from an injury that heals on the outside and the virus builds up under the skin?

Does he remember a paper cut or something that happened in the last few months?

Tea Tree Oil is great. Apply straight and put a band aid with a couple drops on it day and night.

I had warts on my feet, but don't remember them itching.....

Did he go frog hunting in Texas? The family used to do that in Oklahoma......

Very strange. It's still there, of course .. still itches. Doesn't look like a wart from pics I've seen on the internet. But then????

Frogs?? Too dry in South Texas for frogs!! [Big Grin]

Can you post a picture?

Perhaps it's not a wart.

That's what I keep thinking. I could post it with MUCH trouble. Let me see how things go.

I could more easily send it to you thru an email. Do you think you trust me?

Yes, warts can be on the palms. They usually don't itch, but I can imagine one that impinges on a nerve might itch.
