I never get sick..not the common cold, no flu...nada! I always thought I had a great immune system besides always feeling crappy!
Are we too sick to get sick? Or is it just me?
Also, I did get terribly ill with vaccines..flu shots and tetanus. Can't do any vaccines anymore because I had such a severe reaction. Also I react positive for TB, but am negative for x-rays and not a carrier. Weird.

Immune imbalance is the likely culprit. Probably are TH2-shifted (allergic), meaning your body can't mount a TH1 response to colds/flu.

- Most with lyme are advised to avoid vaccines due to the typical adverse reactions that most get.
Even just a flu vaccine caused me to be bed bound for nearly a year (although I did have 3 undiagnosed tick borne infections, the flu shot was the tipping point from which I never really recovered).
However, there are a few important caveats there:
1) tetanus. Never mess with tetanus. It can kill in a very short time and it can be acquired from dirt in the garden, etc. Not just rusty nails. Talk in advance with LLMD about how you might attend to this one safely.
[It was a preventative tetanus shot, though, that triggered convulsions, etc. for me. Nearly died from the vaccine reaction years ago. ER saved my life. Still, I'd not want to die from tetanus, either.]
2) Whooping cough. If you are around infants or children, read up on this.
But also check Mercola's website for details on safety in vaccines to avoid mercury, etc. if one is necessary. -

Same with me. One part of our immune system is down, the other part is revved up.
