my sister called today and she's very worried about my other sister.

she has been to every specialist in ohio including the mayo clinic and they can't find out what's wrong.

her skin is very very thin and when she bumps into anything, it just peels off. she gets these purple and red sores that oooze. she looks like she's 90 or older. her skin just peels off.

she's only on paxil, has never smoke or drank, doesn't eat sugar, no soft drinks, low blood pressure and cholesterol.

could this be lyme or something? any ideas? she said it looks like she's got the plague or something.

surely all these useless doctors could do something other than tell her "oh you're stressed"...

i've never heard of anything like this have you?

hi randibear.
one of my symptoms was very thin skin that would tear and bleed very easily. it was also slow to heal. my skin also lost a lot of elasticity and was droopy (especially on my face). my skin was so thin that it would literally tear and bleed when i touched rough surfaces. it could be lyme (it was for me)...
good luck,

Check this:

I once had a similar problem and my Dr said to take lots of Vitamin C .. the problem went away.

C is mentioned in the article above

Could it be related to Morgellon's?

Have they looked into autoimmune disorders like pemphigus? That affects the skin severely.
