- I can venture a guess but, naturally, they would want to hear & read from a couple different educated sources.
Rife is radio frequency, not heat. Nothing heat ups; nothing melts.
SOME kinds of pace makers are contraindicated but joint replacements are probably (key word: probably) fine. But it may also depend upon the TYPE of rife machine. There are several different kinds.
You can find the answer somewhere in the books and sites below, it just may take a little searching. Post in the RIFE DISCUSSION THREAD for a quicker reply.
At Rosner's book link, there is a phone number to call for book order. This question could likely be answered with a phone call.

- So far, I've not found the answer in Rosner's book. There is no "artifical" - no specification in the index pages for "joint" but many pages under that basic term.
I can't even seem to find the "contraindication" page.
Since I'm curious about the answer, I will search a bit longer but it may take a while. I think my eyes are just too wavy right now.
I also did not have much luck with a Google Advanced Search. My cross search terms just wouldn't hit the jackpot. -

As far as the pacemaker contraindication, I was told to find out what the frequency of the pacemaker is and just not use that frequency.
Turns out the pacemaker my husband has has a very high frequency, much higher than any of the rife frequencies and is okay for him.
I have titanium implants in my mouth and the rife does not affect them. I would think it would be okay for joints, but would do more research before jumping in.

NOT for lyme. That would be only every 12 days, no more often (until very far along in treatment). To use more often can cause kidney damage.
Details in Rosner's book. A MUST-READ before proceeding.
For other infections, it could be used more frequently . . . some daily & even twice daily for some conditions. Again, best to read all you can and get DVDs, check out YouTube video from top sources.
10K frequency can be used daily. That is to help calm inflammation. -

I would NOT use it daily .. but you could run frequencies for yeast or other things.
A herx could take days to show up, so if you treated for lyme more often than every 12-14 days you could get into "trouble."

I would think it would be fine also concerning the metal/titanium in both knees and both hips. That is if you're not using a Doug Coil Machine. Even if you were using a DCM I believe there is a way to avoid potential problems. The manufacturer of the Doug Coil Machine I own has in the past instructed at least one other person with metal in their body to just place the coil 'around' the metal. In other words, not centering the body part with the metal in the center (hole opening) of the coil. Using this approach should be fine when using the DCM.
I've never heard any problems from anyone with metal in their body while using plasma and/or contact machines.
