Does doxy make you more sensitive to the sun? I don't burn easily so I don't think this would affect me, but still would like to know.

Yes definitely. I had blistering burns in the first several months of taking it. Even with tons of sunscreen.
One thing that helps me is to put thick cover-up over the top of the sunscreen. But overall, the sun sensitivity diminished with time for me. I'm still not sure why.

I rarely rarely burn and doxy made me very sun sensitive and if I was in sun too long I got like a rash

Please do take care with sun exposure and doxy. I would develop terrible looking rashes from sun exposure while driving in my car with tinted windows.
I eventually left an oversized SPF 50 sport shirt in my car and put it on (complete with pulling the long sleeves over my hands) before driving anywhere.

You have to avoid the sun when taking doxy. It causes a medication burn. This is not the same as sunburn. You don't even turn red.
But, once you get it, you feel like your hands are in a blowtorch. You can't put your hands in hot or cold water due to extreme pain. You can't expose your hands to even 5 seconds of sun without torture. And, it lasts for weeks.
Believe me, this is a nasty chemical burn, so you want to avoid it at all costs. Your hands can burn through the windshield while driving.
If you notice tingling, that is the start. But, you may get no warning at all. Cover up and stay out of the sun.

even with a generous layer 45 sunblock, i got a major sunburn after spending less than a hour in the sun...red blisters all over my face and swollen eyes. i don't generally burn, but this was like nothing i had ever experienced. please be careful.
