from seeing results posted on this forum I noticed that some bands will have (+) and others might have (++) what's the difference between one plus sign and two plus signs??

The more pluses the stronger the reaction or higher the antibodies for that band.

If a person is taking medication that suppresses the autoimmune system how will impact the Western Blot results? I will be tested the end of September and I am on Plaquenil and Methotrexate. Off of the Prednisone. Pain is creeping back in my fingers and toes. Yikes!

I do know that steroids affect it. Not sure about the other two.

My WB was not clearly positive and I had taken methotrexate and steroids prior .. but not immediately prior.

Just keep in mind there are plenty of false negatives on the WB.
