Lymies: Has anyone done Rocephin injections? If so, are these tough to handle? did they help you?.. today isn't good.. wondering if i need to switch to rocephin and get off of Bicillin....

I feel soo helpless right now and in tears... i'm not sure how much more of this I can take. I'm so tired of crying and feeling desperate. I'm tired of being depressed and hopeless. I'm a christian, but I'm losing hope. I've had people prophecie over me that I will be healed, but today is just soo hard, i'm scared as i'm starting to feel old symptoms come back... what to do.. God help me... please!!

I can't imagine theyu are any more difficult than the bicillin injections. How long have you been on the bicillin? I have been on a little over 2 months and they have made such a wonderful difference for me.

What are your most bothersome symptoms?

#1 Rocephin shots aren't that bad. They mix it with lidocain so it just stings a bit. Much cheaper too

#2 Take a deep breath. Remember that you have faith in God and his path-- for better or worse. There will be good days and there will be bad days, God is with you on both of them. Have faith, try your best to see the right Dr's and try to keep your spirit up.

Ellen that is so wonderful that you can feel a difference already,,

I thought I would by now,,,can you pm me with dose ,strength and what's with it?/ PLEASE!

Smiley [Smile] Soon/not-not

how long have you been doing shots?

I too am totally understanding second paragraph....

I honestly thought if I could just get to the shot's I would feel a turn around in weeks..it's been month's..

I think I get treated for a co-infection to just a slight change and then he switches and I'll focus on next battle ,,,after a while I realize, I'm fighting the one that was down for a bit,

Like I've had terrible breathing, fatigue, pain kick in hard......Unless it's something in the air, it could only be a babs flare..BUT WHY?????

WHY NOW???

Lord , Bless Smiley and give her a next level of healing and guide her doctors to think and come-up with answers for her.....

I got off the Bicillin shots after being on them all summer, but they are no longer helping me and am waiting to start Rocephin shots. I didn't realize that my PCP would have to order the Rocephin before I could get my shots. I feel so bad today. How in the world am I going to be able to make it until it gets here, I feel like I'm dying right now.

What do the Rocephin injection target? Like have they been linked to helping Lyme or a co-infection of some sort. I would love to know
all the details if someone can let me know??

Thank you all for your sweet words of encouragement! Keep them coming!!

I am also on injections. Been on them about 2 weeks so far. I also did 9 months of bicillan first.

Bicillan is much harder by far.

My fiance actually mixes the shots for me with the lidocaine and water. Much cheaper this way. A family friends owns a compounding pharmacy and showed us how to do it. Otherwise it would have cost me 50$ every three days, bc once the shots are mixed they have a short shelf life.

Much Much more easy to tolerate though.

Much more easy to tolerate than bicillin in terms of what?

the GI system?

Is it harder or easier on the stomach to tolerate than bicillin?
