This might be due to vitamin B deficiency.
Supplement with a good quality sublingual B12, methylcobalamin.

Peripheral neuropathy

"Damage to the sensory nerve can produce tingling, numbness, and a burning pain."

Your second link says that flagyl and fluorquinolones can cause neuropathy. I know that both drugs have caused nerve pain for me.

Why are you waiting for the appointment to try B vitamins?

When I first took B vitamins, I had some symptoms subside within two days.

If they don't work, then you can tell the doc.

p.s. If they DO work, you should tell the doc!

Oh, okay.
There is alot you can do yourself to relieve your symptoms, as many of them are due to nutritional deficits.

You can take vitamins, minerals, liver support.
Omega 3's, beta glucans, systemic enzymes.
