Most ceftin I've done was 2000., usually 1500 but maint. Was 1000 mg.

I've also been on 1500 mg. to 2000 mg. Ceftin. It works well for lyme.

It always did help except this round. I did 6 years when not on Iv rocephin, oral ceftin , and Zithromax. got gallstones from rocephin, gall bladder out, but got better till this round. From 2009 till now, my body changed andi have no idea of what will get me back. I'm 49 so hormones running a muck too. I hope things get better soon. It's sick and frustrating..

At 1000mg twice a day, it was pretty decent but only really good when I added Roxithro, Clarithro, or Mino.
When I went up to 1000mg three times a day it hit me HARD. I was bedridden for days and had to scale it back as I had to get back to work.

1g twice a day with mino. Is kicking me hard, bottom back of head feels swollen, feel feverish and occasionally dizzy.
Don't usually herx on a med but this is beyond me. It's like I am sick again, though I know I'm much better than I was. Had to take Advil to get through day today.
Should clear up remaining lyme and keep me strep free for the winter.
