I have posted on here about my head pressure before. It is almost constant, radiates to my sinuses, and is accompanied by a headache. I have many many other symptoms (eye floaters where I can actually see bacteria, sore arms, heart pain, fatigue, cognitive problems, etc.). I have been diagnosed clinically of having Lyme, and came back positive for Babesia. I had 6 IND strands specific to Lyme and a double positive p41 strand.

I have read many blogs and postings saying that systemic candida can cause horrible head pressure and many symptoms related to Lyme. I am on a hardcore treatment program right now for Babesia.

My question is, can I finally relax after all of these months and let the antibiotics try to do their trick. I have read Babesia is associated with headaches/headpressure. I just dont want to have to worry in the back of my mind that its also something else. My symptoms hit me like a brick wall 7 months ago. The day before I was completely normal. When I woke up, I felt ill. The next day, the head pressure began. Weeks would go by and I would develop very weird new symptoms. My thought is that candida couldnt all of the sudden hit me like a sack of potatoes like the Lyme could.

What really made me worry was a post about Olive Leaf extract. Someone said it causes yeast die off, which gave the person headaches and head pressure. I just started taking it along with my antibiotics, and have had a horrible headache and head pressure from it. But I also read it is good for Lyme. I just dont know what to do anymore..

Tony, I just started taking olive leaf extract 4 days ago and developed that awful sinus headache and pressure in different parts of my head. I also felt like I was having a bad herx. I wondered if there could be yeast living in my brain!

I never tested positive for babesia, but have been being treated for it with mepron and biaxin the past 4 months. Treatment has resulted in some bug crawling sensations in my head as well as the feeling that a thick fluid is moving around in the meninges. But very few head aches. I have not had any sweats at night, but have a few during the day occasionally.

I have more bart symptoms than babs, but feel the mepron is doing something in my head that the other meds did not. I have had floaters for years - still do. I sometimes have muscle and joint pain.

I discussed my sinus headache and pressure with a LLMD about this in a Webinar last evening and he said to stop the OLE as he thinks I was having a bad reaction to it.

I have decided to stop the OLE for a while and see if the head pressure subsides. I am not sure if it is a bad reaction to the OLE or if it is herxing as a result of yeast in the brain.

Maybe you should try stopping the OLE for a while as you it could simply be a negative reaction you are having to it.

I had terrible sinus pressure, headaches, and actual facial pain (sinus-like in nature), and TMJ at the end of summer/early fall. I have lyme and babs.

My LLMD thought it was the lyme. She increased my amox, added probenicid and sure enough, the headaches went away in a few days. Haven't had one since.

I also thought it was babs, since headaches are often mentioned with babs, but my LLMD said the type of headache I had was far more often lyme.

My head pressure is almost unbearable...terrible behind my eyes and forehead. I can't concentrate to read, feel anxious and depressed beyond belief. I feel like I'm having a nervous breakdown. Just 2 weeks ago had to stop mepron and art. due to high liver enzymes and 3600mg of amox wasn't even registering in my blood....like I was taking water! I have backslid so far...I'm scared to death waht is happening. I often feel like there's something else going on inside my brain like a tumor. I hate to sound like a hypochondriac, though.

FamilyFive- I have pressure that radiates at the top of my nose, all the way to the top of my head. My head would hurt so bad sometimes my hair would hurt. Have you experience a globe like sensation of pressure in your head like this? Now I question the babs. However, since I started taking Mepron a few weeks ago along with zithromycin I feel like something is changing. It is hard to tell. I would be so happy if it would just go away.
